Wade McVey, more commonly known as "Barefoot Wade", has played well over 1000 shows in his career. He regularly travels from Virginia to Key West, Florida doing energetic shows and entertaining diverse crowds. He has released two full albums independently, and has had countless magazine and newspaper articles written about him as well as a few radio and television interviews.

Musical Diversity

One of the most entertaining aspects of his performance is his range of musical styles. Wade combines elements of Country, Rock, Reggae, Funk, Comedy, and blues in his original and cover songs. On stage, Wade employs the use of Acoustic and Electric guitars, Bass guitars, Steel Drum, Various Percussion, Keyboards, and Kazoo. He is able to play these instruments simultaneously through a process known as "Loop Sampling". This gives the aural illusion that there is more than one musician jamming on stage.

Staying Busy!

Barefoot Wade is always looking to play any city, state or country that he has never played in before and is quite capable of headlining a 4 hour show but also makes for a convenient and effective opening act. He regularly plays Festivals, Night Clubs, Restaurants, Beach bars, Country Bars, and College Parties.
